Happy New Year!

2023 was an exciting year musically, some of the highlights….

• My original music project, Hidden Waves, toured around Scotland for the first time with the help of Creative Scotland. This featured the incredible musicians Ewan Hastie, Paul Harrison and Doug Hough. We made a record which I’m super happy with. 

• I toured South Korea for two weeks thanks to my friend and amazing pianist Paul Kirby. We played with some amazing local musicians from Seoul.

• I did a small tour with the great Americana singer Bromwynne Brent from Greenville, Mississippi.

• The Guitar Heroes enjoyed their first year playing at Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Max Popp and Mario Caribé.

• Played a solo/ duo gig fortnightly at the Salisbury arms.

• I also played every week for a while with a trio in The Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh with Ed Kelly and Steve Moore on piano. I learnt loads doing this.
